The first blog

Ok, so here I am sitting at my computer in my dorm. The school is currently on Fall Break so the place is basically like a ghost college, lol.

I've been sick all day, with a cold or something. Which really sucks cause my head hurts and I can't sleep. Bleh. This past week has basically been crap. Really. It's been good, as in I don't have classes until this upcoming Thursday, but bad as in 1) my cat died Saturday and I loved him so much and 2) ummm... the guy that liked me and I was beginning to like is now going out with one of my friends... and I'm happy for them, but it still hurt. So ya, that was a bloody mess. My heart is shreds, lol.. not a laughing matter but hey, it's either laugh or start to cry my eyes out again.

Ok, onto the good part of the weekend, lol... Saterday, we got a bunch of kids on campus for In Focus. High school students come to visit the college and learn about God and have a good time with worship, messages, and hanging with the college students. I got to host three wonderful girls in my dorm room.. my roommate went home for Fall Break... and the two younger ones stayed up until like 1:40 a.m or 2 something, smacking each other with their stuffed animal, lol. I coundn't stop laughing, even though I was crying. Then Sunday, the college students had a miracle happen, lol.... *drum roll* we got served both breakfast and lunch on a Sunday... that never ever happens, lol... So I was happy, the others were too. After the kids left later at noon, we had some extra matresses sitting in the hall (from the kids sleeping on them if they were on the floor in the rooms) and so me and two of my friends decided to have fun *giggles* While one of em filmed us, we stacked the three matresses at one end of the hall and ran down to the other end (our RA was gone for Fall Break *cheers* and so she will never know, lol) Once we were ready we each took a turn running down the hall so we could jump and fly onto the matresses and go "boing" off of it!!! It was sooo fun... Yes.. thats our enteretainment for breaks sometimes, lol... Next we slid down the stairs on the matresses and I got so scared, lol.. but it was fun, there are no complaints on my side. After we were done sliding we decided to run at each other from opposite ends of the hall and slam into each other, it was fun and I won... mostly cause I've played on a mens football team before and I'm use to getting hit hard, lol.... then I went to sleep until like 10 that evening and the got online for a bit before I started finishing the two purses that I had started to make Saturday of this weekend. I finished them earlier this evening.. well now as I look at the clock, it's already the 14th. Sad, lol... not really. So I finished them "yesterday." LOL.... They are beautiful!
So now, it comes to Monday. I slept until brunch which was at 10:30 a.m and ate some corn dogs, which I absolutely LOVE!! lol... we get served them every two weeks on Mondays. Yup, I got the timing down, lol... anywhos - after brunch I headed back here, to my room, and got online. I listened to some Hello Kelly (I listen to them everyday... No, I'm serious, I do. I have a playlist from myspace that I made. They're my fav band, next to my ex-roomies band, Coldrain.... you should check em out on myspace (www.myspace.com/hellokelly and www.myspace.com/coldrain4) they both are wonderful, God blessed bands with some totally rocking band members.) I got bored after an hour online and decided to go to the library across campus and try to scan some of my family pictures online... ya, didn't work.. stupid scanner *smacks it*.... so I headed back here and just as I stepped down onto my floor my friend Lisa spied me and said she had just been knocking on my door. She then dragged me (willingly) outside and we took some rad pictures, lol. My blog pic is one of the products of this expedition, lol... after we were done, I went back to my room and was online again for about an an hour and a half before I headed over to dinner (4:30 p.m) and had a scrumptious meal... cajun turkey sub, cheetos, fritos, green bell peppers and veggie dip, kool-aid, milk and a chocolate chip cookie... then after I was done eating I switched tables to sit by one of my other friends and one of my other friends who just got his dinner came and sit infront of me... ya, lets just say I about choked on my fritos from either a) being tickled or b) laughing so hard, lol... I love my friends... some of the things we talk about are so random or just totally wierd, lol... Then I came back here and passed out after tagging a few of my earlier taken pictures on facebook.
I was asleep until 10:24 p.m... then I got up, my head still hurting from the cold and my pillow soaked with my drool *sighs* yes I drool, lol... and I got back online after taking a bathroom break and reading the "jon" journal, lol... I've been online since and I finally decided to make this blog.. well finally figured out how too, lol *smacks self* it wasn't tthhhaaatt hard... sorta... maybe, lol... anywhos - that was my weekend so far. Both the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Fun times, fun times.... *sighs* I guess I'll post this blog and wait to write another one... though the next ones might be posted today, probably a couple of my poems from this weekend. Don't know yet, just depends on if I get bored or not.. but I will write another blog post later in the day, after I sleep and get up and go through it, lol... since it's only 12 something in the morning right now..
